Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort is situated in a quiet yet central area there are restaurants, bars and shops in the area. The hotel is situated on a cliff top with view of the sea, the bay of Funchal and the mountains. It is right at the sea and it is 15 minutes walk to the center of Funchal. Hotel facilities include swimming pool with direct access to the sea, heated swimming pool at garden level, childrens swimming pool and games section, and a indoor pool. The hotel does also include a PADI diving centre and school, floodlit tennis court, mini golf in the garden, gym, sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, solarium, massage room, beuty and healt treatments. Besides all this the hotel includes a games room (table tennis, billiard, table football), library, hairdresser, boutiques, laundry service, room service, wireless internet (extra charge) and parking. The hotel has restaurants and bars.
